Here are a few of the most common questions I get asked.

CAN I HAVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR FABULOUS ORIGINAL PAINTINGS?

Absolutely. I create each painting with a lot of love. I start off with multiple layers of “mark-making” which, basically, is me dancing to music and intuitively dabbing, flicking and stamping paint onto the canvas to add background texture. This is the funnest part of the whole process. After the background layer is done, it's time to get down to business. I tend to always include some form of nature in all my paintings. Bright colors, clean lines, and texture define my style. Some paintings progress faster than others. Some are done within a matter of days. Others can take weeks, and a
few, even months to complete. It's all about creative juices. Sometimes it flows like a waterfall, other times you can't squeeze it out of me. Most of the time it's me just waiting for an idea to pop into my head to give it a good ole
college try.

Once a painting has my stamp of approval (meaning there is absolutely nothing else I can do to make it any better) I take the necessary steps that will make it look fantastic on your wall. I paint the sides a color that complements the painting. Then I add multiple layers of gloss varnish which protects the painting from dust/dirt and gives it an awesome glossy sheen (bling, bling).

Since the canvases I use are 1.5" thick you don't have to frame it, but if you want to, I won't stand in your way.

Since I'm a whiz at Photoshop, and you are spending a lot of money on my painting, I offer a service that'll give you a good idea of what your painting will look like on your wall. All I need from you is to send me a .jpg of the space and some simple measurements.  I'll superimpose my painting on it, and violá, a detailed insight into your future decor.

Here's an example, in case you have a hard time visualizing the visualization.

You send me this.

I'll do this.

HOW AND WHEN DO I GET TO RECEIVE YOUR FABULOUS ORIGINAL PAINTING?

I spend a long time on each painting and I'm invested in making sure it gets to you safe and sound. To do this, I pack each painting in a super rigid shipping box that weighs (with all the packing materials) about twice that of my painting. There's an array of packing materials like foam panels, corner protectors, foam bumpers and cable ties that make sure that painting is more secure than Fort Knox. Ok, not really. To see how intricate this packaging really is, here's a fancy chart of the box I use with all the bells and whistles.

The artwork ships via UPS ground and will arrive on your doorstep within 2-5 days (domestic) from time of shipping (includes tracking and insurance).  International shipments will be sent via USPS. Shipping costs cover the fees, packaging supplies, and my time and labor deciphering and executing the shipping box's fancy chart.

If you happen to live close to me, you are welcome to pick up your order at my studio to save on shipping charges. Just send me an email, neighbor.

CAN I HAVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR FABULOUS GICLEE PRINTS?

Absolutely. There's two things that make a Giclee print special. One, the actual printing process involves using archival inks that blend creating seamless color and detail. Two, the fine art paper it's printed on must have excellent ink retention, be archival and acid free. My prints fit both that criteria. The combination of this means that your print is the closest reproduction, in color and detail, to the original painting. The bonus is that it won't fade. Light is the killer of all artwork. Unless you live in a windowless house, this can be problematic. A Giclee print will look the same ten years from now as it does today. Now, wouldn't it be nice if the same happened to each of us.

HOW AND WHEN DO I GET TO RECEIVE YOUR FABULOUS GICLEE PRINT?

Each Giclee is printed to order. Please allow some time for my wonderful printer to do an amazing job. Processing time is usually 1-2 weeks. Once it's back in my studio, it gets matted and put into a clear plastic sleeve (that way you can take it to be framed without getting your kids fingerprints all over it). I then secure it in a rigid flat mailer, drop it at the local post office and have them stamp it with a Priority 2-Day Delivery time label. I can keep you updated on the progress or rush it along for an extra charge.

CAN I GET A DIFFERENT SIZE PRINT THAT WHAT YOU OFFER?

Well, that depends on the size you're looking for. In most cases, YES! What do you have in mind? Email me to discuss.

WILL MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE BE SAFE AND SECURE?

Absolutely. Once you are ready to pay, your shopping cart is directed to PayPal's secure payment site, which according to this article is safer than using a credit card online. There you can change your quantities, find out shipping costs and give me your shipping address. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase.

I SEE A PAINTING IN YOUR PORTFOLIO THAT I WANT TO BUY BUT IT'S NOT IN YOUR SHOP. WHAT GIVES?

Yeah, well, I'm getting there. It's a process getting these paintings ready for sale. A lot involves determining price points, gathering quotes from vendors and everyday "business stuff" that most artists dread, me included. I'm the happiest actually producing the work but, alas, I do have to make a living. So to answer your question:

If you want the original and there's not a sold sign on it, then YES! Email me for details.

If you see a painting and would like a print of it, then YES! My procrastination is your good fortune. Email me so we can discuss what custom size you need for your wall, whether you want it matted or not or anything else that I might be able to do to personalize this order for you. It doesn't get better than that.

UH OH. I GOT MY ORDER. HOW DO I RETURN IT?
Every order, commission, and sale is handled with extreme care and as much clarity and transparency as possible. My utmost goal is for you to be completely thrilled with your purchase!  Because of this, all sales are final except in certain situations. Please email me at jenferry@mac.com so we can work it out. Just to be on the safe side, please take the time to read descriptions carefully and check the colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about minor share variations. I try my best to represent the colors and tones in my work completely, honestly and clearly.

WILL YOU DONATE TO MY CHARITY?

Absolutely. I donate prints to local charitable causes each year. Please email me your request.

I'M A GALLERY AND WE ARE INTERESTED IN EXHIBITING YOUR WORK.

Oh, that is music to my ears. I would be honored to be included in any show. Please send me an email to discuss your gallery and ideas.

I'M A SHOP OWNER AND AM INTERESTED IN SELLING YOUR ARTWORK.
