I teach a weekly acrylic painting class that usually has 6-13 people each session. Small enough for individual instruction but big enough to do demonstrations. There are my set of regulars that come every session plus always new people that either have always wanted to start painting or ones that are revisiting the process from a long time ago. We are a supportive bunch that learn from each other.
Bring in a photo that you would like to paint. Individual attention is given to help you translate your photo to canvas. You’ll learn tricks that will add depth, drama, and texture to your painting while experimenting with brush strokes, color choices, and composition. The goal in this all-encompassing class is to gain a working knowledge of acrylic paints while exploring your own creativity. Geared to all levels, you will enjoy this creative class in a supportive, friendly and relaxed environment. Here's the materials list.

Have you seen the latest craze in acrylic painting? Acrylic pour painting uses a special mix of acrylic paints and paint additives that work together to produce beautiful abstract paintings full of color, swirls and cells. In this fun, interactive 2-hour workshop I'll demonstrate the method, discuss how to modify your paints with different pouring mediums, and provide recipes that you can take home for future experimentation. Each student will get two 8" x10" canvases, paints and all other materials required to create two pour paintings in class. No art experience is necessary. All materials provided and all ages welcome!
Stay tuned for future dates this workshop will be offered.
